Our Mission is to educate, entertain and inspire visitors of all ages through interaction with model railroads.

Our Vision is a model railroad museum that demonstrates the history and technology of railroading in an entertaining and educational experience.

ASHARA is a 501C3 Non-profit Corporation in the Sate of Michigan.

The Purposes for the Corporation are:

1. Build and foster an association of persons having an interest in the art, science, and history of American Railroading.

2. Demonstrate the benefits of model railroading in public education and youth guidance.

3. Provide operating model railroad layouts for public display.

4. Develop an educational organization for the study of American railroading, past and present.

5. Plan, finance, and construct a new Model Railroad Museum facility in West Michigan.
